South Korea gov't launches mobile digital ID nationwide
-------------------------------------------------------
South Korea's interior and safety ministry (MOIS) and the presidential committee on the digital platform government has launched the Mobile Resident Registration Card. The new digital ID has the same legal validity as the physical Resident Registration Card and is accepted by government services, banks, airports, hospitals, convenience stores and other institutions. It can also be used to identify voters.

Telefonica data traffic up 25% during Valencia's Fallas festival
----------------------------------------------------------------
Telefonica said total data traffic registered on its Movistar-branded network during Valencia's Las Fallas festival climbed 25 percent this year compared to 2023, with 5G traffic surging 77 percent. Fifth-generation technology accounted for 28 percent of the total, up 8 percentage points year on year, hitting a peak of 32 percent during the Nit del Foc (Night of Fire) on 18 March.
