March is Workplace Eye Wellness Month

It's important to protect your eyes both on the job and during your daily activities. Take a few simple steps throughout your workday to make a difference for your eye health. If your work involves activities like construction or sports, make sure to wear protective eyewear. If you work outdoors, wear sunglasses to block harmful UV rays, even on cloudy days, and choose lenses that block 99-100% of UVA and UVB radiation. And if you're spending long hours in front of a computer, give your eyes a rest every 20 minutes by looking at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
