[DEADLINE EXTENDED: Leading Edge Acceleration Projects (LEAP) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO)](https://www.healthit.gov/topic/onc-funding-opportunities/leading-edge-acceleration-projects-leap-health-information)

The deadline for the Special Emphasis Notice (SEN) under the Leading Edge Acceleration Projects (LEAP) [funding opportunity NAP-AX-22-001](https://grants.gov/search-results-detail/341131) has been extended to 12:00 ET on Friday April 25, 2025. An informational session about this NOFO will be held Thursday March 6, 2025 1:00 PM ET.

[eClinicalWorks Joins Growing List of TEFCA QHINs(link is external)](https://www.hcinnovationgroup.com/interoperability-hie/trusted-exchange-framework-and-common-agreement-tefca/news/55261502/eclinicalworks-joins-growing-list-of-tefca-qhins)

Ambulatory EHR vendor eClinicalWorks has been designated as a Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN) under the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA), which is being set up to enable the nationwide exchange of electronic health information (EHI) across disparate health information networks. “We anticipate TEFCA-based exchange will continue to accelerate this year and are excited to add eClinicalWorks to an increasingly deep roster of QHINs,” says Micky Tripathi, Ph.D., assistant secretary for technology policy

[Applications Open for 2025 LEAP in Health IT SEN](https://www.healthit.gov/topic/onc-funding-opportunities/leading-edge-acceleration-projects-leap-health-information)

The Leading Edge Acceleration Projects (LEAP) in Health IT program issued a Special Emphasis Notice (SEN) for 2025. The SEN will fund two areas of emphasis. The first area focuses on demonstrating the readiness of FHIR-based Subscriptions for improving interactivity with third-party apps, and the second area focuses on identifying and testing innovative approaches that would inform future changes to the TEFCA infrastructure to increase adoption of Individual Access Service (IAS).

Draft United States Core Data for Interoperability Version 6 (Draft USCDI v6) is now available! Draft USCDI v6 seeks to advance health data in a way that will benefit users of health IT. The comment period for Draft USCDI v6 is open through April 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET.

The 11th annual Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA) Reference Edition is now available. This year’s edition includes important alignment updates to the Administrative and Pharmacy sections, as well as smaller updates across other pages, including Public Health and Unique Device Identification, and Admit, Discharge, and Transfer Notifications.
