The figures both ministers used were actually the number of cases on the waiting list, which is higher than the number of people.

Hoax posts about serial killers, stabbings and other alarming stories are still swamping local Facebook groups, 18 months after a major Full Fact investigation.
In February we identified at least 47 communities across the UK which had been the victim of the bogus appeals or warnings.
