About ERC

The ERC is composed of an independent Scientific Council and the ERC Executive Agency (ERCEA).

The **Scientific Council** is the ERC's governing body and is responsible for setting the ERC's scientific strategy. It is composed of distinguished scientists and scholars from various fields. 

The **ERC Executive Agency (ERCEA)** is in charge of implementing and managing the daily operations of the European Research Council.
