If you're like me, your inbox is filled to the brim with what could charitably be called marketing emails, and what could less charitably be called spam. Create an account with any website, social network, or mobile app these days, and you're bound to find yourself on some email lists — to say nothing of whenever you check into a hotel or book a flight. I've been trying to be better about unsubscribing from these emails whenever I spot them, which led me to opening up a fairly nondescript message yesterday from Uber. In the message, Uber informs me that I can... use its services to get to an appointment. Gee, thanks. But that's not what caught my eye (I mean, how could it?). Instead, when I went to click on the "Unsubscribe," link, I found the following message: "Images or text may have been created or edited with AI." I'm sure it's not the first time I've been sent an AI-generated marketing email, but I was a little taken aback regardless. It seems as though Uber (along with Uber Eat
